“Sometimes remembering will lead to a story, which makes it forever. That’s what stories are for. Stories are for joining the past to the future. Stories are for those late hours in the night when you can’t remember how you got from where you were to where you are. Stories are for eternity, when memory is erased, when there is nothing to remember except the story.”
The Things They Carried, Tim O’Brien

Hussin and I drove by this sign and had to turn around. We were able to slip in and make our little photo memento between large giggling groups of kids, grandparents and out-of-staters (like us) that would pile out of mini-vans every few minutes. We took the photo for the group after us. It is an unspoken law of the sign photo line.

Classic. The American Experience. Priceless. Epic... One of the four, or maybe just three. I don't know.

Albert Camus, The Rebel

"The Rebel resonates as an ardent, eloquent, and supremely rational voice of conscience for our tumultuous times."

Ohio to Colorado

Trying to remember how to use a digital camera. It has been awhile. I'm not making excuses.

Here are a few images from the move.
